●  A water based flow battery is simply composed of a stack, electrolyte, electrolyte storage and supply unit, and management and control unit. Liquid flow battery is a high-performance battery that utilizes the separation and cycling of positive and negative electrode electrolytes.

●  Reaction principle: Electrochemically active molecules stored in positive and negative electrolyte storage tanks, driven by a circulating pump, flow through the electrode to undergo oxidation/reduction reactions, receive/release electrons, and achieve reversible conversion of electrical and chemical energy.

●  Main difference: The liquid electrolyte of the flow battery is stored in an external storage tank, rather than in each battery unit. Due to the physical separation of the electrolyte carrying energy from the power generation stack, the energy and power of the liquid flow battery are also separated.
